Greetings, I’m Vivian Tolbert, co-founder of Headstone Hunters. At Headstone Hunters, we’re dedicated to preserving vital information for deceased individuals by documenting grave sites in cemeteries across the U.S. and Europe. Through photography, transcription, and GPS mapping, Headstone Hunters ensure that every detail is accurately recorded. This data is then digitally shared on the Find a Grave, Billion Graves, Family Search, and Ancestry platforms, providing universal access to memorial information.

In response to the Covid quarantine of 2020, my sister and I founded Headstone Hunters as a way for friends and family to connect with each other and to serve their communities while remaining socially distanced. Although life has more or less returned to normal, Headstone Hunters remains an integral part of my life because I am deeply committed to ensuring that every individual is honored and remembered. Since its inception, our team of Headstone Hunters has added or updated thousands of memorials, preserving the legacies of countless individuals.
